Did this for a few years chasing the prefect expresso. Then I saw Kent Rollins cowboy coffee and tried it, chunked all that junk in the trash. Cowboy coffee is smooth and rich. Start with good beans.

Let's see. missed the bottom half, so WDT was a waste... missed any clumps in the bottom. leveling compresses only the top half. again, making it uneven, when you tamp. A manual WDT, starting at the bottom. A couple of taps to level it. Then tamp the darn thing. Geesh.
