My daughter did this mid academy… her chief who was a friend of mine called and asked what was up… the new city paid $8 more an hour in the academy with a $2 boost on graduation… it’s just math

az has a law that a recruit can’t quit or lateral for 3 years or they have to repay for training costs and it’s prorated. it has essentially stopped this.

It doesn’t cost that much to train. The people training are officers making regular officer pay. How is the cost calculated? Why stay making $30 hour when someone else paying $45 hour for you to do the same job
