@dailymail: As floodwaters spread through Bangkok, residents transformed a submerged plaza outside a shopping mall into an improvised marketplace, selling fresh produce and other essentials from floating platforms and containers. Footage from Monday, September 28, shows vendors wading through the water as shoppers navigated the flooded area on foot and in small boats. The flooding has affected dozens of provinces across Thailand, with at least eight people killed and more than 580,000 homes impacted, according to the Interior Ministry. Bangkok was declared a disaster-affected area after nearly 12 inches of rain fell in just 48 hours. #thailand #bangkok #flooding #news #asia
