Let me explain stuff for you as someone that has been re watching this show since I was like 14, the ONLY reason the grounders are there is because of Callie's people. That's why even though there are different clans they all speak the same language (the language Callie made up herself as a child) the people in the bunkers never came out of the bunkers. Cadigan led them through the anomali and to another planet. The people in mount weather? They have NEVER been outside since the bombs hit. They can't survive out there. Every single grounder is a descendant from Callie's people. That's why there is still night blood around. That comes from Callie's people.

How long did it take you to realize that? Literally every single night blood was a direct descendant. Trikru was her activist group and the grounder language was created by Callie.

I'm pretty sure ALL the grounders came from Callie's people. who else could've survived? There could have been other pockets of people from other bunkers, but once they came back to the surface they would have had to join Callie's people and get Becca's nightblood serum to survive on the irradiated surface. Or stay underground, like Mt. Weather.

The fact that there were multiple places you could’ve been at the initial and of the world and survive is crazy to me. We had the bunker people, space station people, mount weather, and the other planet.

I just realized that the whole storyline with mount weather could've been avoided if they knew about the nightblood serum already. I don't remembered but did they state why Callie's group never went to mount weather to see if there were survivors she could turn into nightbloods?

This is a no shit kinda fact no? Cause night blood became hereditary and the grounders had black blood in every colony i actually assumed they all split up across the continent to find other survivors and help rebuild into the tribes we knew.

🤔this is why their need to be a prequel to the 100 so would could've seen the the 12 tribes formed in the after math of the bombs dropping - that 1 and only episode did not do its justice to a back story well

I believe all the the different clans like tree crew and ice nation all descend from different bunkers and stuff like that originally and some people moved and mixed population a bit but the different clans remained
