@kpevhyper: The severity of flooding in parts of Hohoe is a matter of serious concern. The situation has resulted in varying degrees of damage and loss, affecting homes, properties and the livelihoods of some residents. I wish to extend my heartfelt sympathy to all individuals and families who have suffered losses as a result of the recent floods. I fully appreciate the difficulties and distress this situation has caused, and I encourage affected residents to remain calm as efforts are being intensified to address the situation. The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), together with the Municipal Physical Planning Officer, engineers from the Assembly and officers from NADMO, are currently on the ground assessing the affected areas and documenting the extent of the damage. Their assessment will inform further interventions and actions to mitigate the impact of flooding and help prevent a recurrence.
