@independent: Prince Harry kept a promise to a 102-year-old Second World War veteran by taking part in a skydive. The Duke of Sussex met Ed Marshall at Sunnybrook Veterans Centre last November, where Marshall described his charity skydive for his 100th birthday. Harry pledged to return and jump with him. Marshall, who turns 103 in a few months, couldn't jump, so his grandson Bailey Fullan took his place while Marshall watched from the plane. Harry also made good on his promise to take part in the skydive on Friday (25 September) in Toronto. After landing , Harry kissed the ground and phoned his wife, Meghan Markle, who was "very relieved."
