I had my 5 year old son enrolled with them too. One morning they switched drivers & this driver arrived at an elementary school and asked my son to exit the bus with the rest of his friends. When my son noticed it was not his school he tried to explain to the driver that it wasn’t his school. The driver ignored him and told him to get inside the school. My 5 year old started crying & one of his little daycare friends that did attend that school tried to comfort him took him to the breakfast area. He had breakfast and then followed his little friend to his classroom. This is where the teacher noticed my son and after investigating she called my son’s school to let them know what occurred. My son’s school principal then called the daycare and me! The daycare never called me to notify me of this incident. When I tell you I was furious!!!!

7:22 dropped off... school opens at 7:35... so everyone just arrive exactly or after 7:35? In my school, cleaning staff or guard are already in school at least 30 minutes before school opens.

It all depends. I was a school bus driver for nearly 30 years and left an indelible mark; I had students ranging from daycare age all the way to college. To me, they were my kids—I would have protected them with my life. If I noticed anything odd, or if I didn't like someone's or a teacher's attitude, I would let the parents know—especially with the little ones. I never missed a day of work because I didn't want anyone else driving my route; I didn't know who they might send to take my place. Eventually, I had a meeting with my boss, and they assigned someone I had personally chosen to cover for me in case of an emergency. I used to pick my own assistants, and we worked as a team. I loved my job; those kids were my priority.
