@ixgelareh: Minoxidil is simply a medication that has been clinically proven to stimulate hair growth in certain(!) types of hair loss. And yes, ofcourse it needs to be clinically proven because it’s a medicine. It’s literally a drug… But that does not mean minoxidil is the only way to address hair loss. It’s like saying: “I have a headache.” And I immediately tell you: “Well, you need to take ibuprofen. That’s the only way your headache is going to go away. It’s clinically proven to relieve pain.” Well… yeah. But why do you have the headache in the first place? And are there more natural ways to address that? Maybe you’re dehydrated. Maybe you’re not sleeping properly. Maybe there’s another underlying factor that needs to be addressed. Maybe you just need a good consistent night routine with some herbal tea to relieve that tension. And that’s how I feel about hair loss. I personally experienced severe hair loss and recovered without minoxidil. And not just me. So many women experience different types of hair loss (telogen effluvium, androgenetic alopecia, hormonal hair loss, alopecia areata and more). Are we all lying? No. We simply looked at what could be contributing to the hair loss in the first place and worked on addressing those factors with more natural and safe solutions and routines, rather than automatically assuming medication was the only answer. And I’m not saying minoxidil doesn’t work. For certain types of hair loss, it can be a useful treatment. But before you consider that approach, please ask yourself: why am I losing hair in the first place? Because once you understand the cause, you can start addressing the right problem. #hairloss #hairtok #haircare #naturalhaircare #hairgrowth
