@cbsnews: Police have launched an investigation after a toddler was found with a loaded gun at a daycare in Canton Township, Michigan. Officers responded to the Children's World Early Learning Center on Monday morning and collected the firearm. Canton police say a parent was arrested. Authorities confirmed that one of the child's parents is a police officer in a neighboring community, but police did not say if that parent was the one who was arrested. It is also unclear how the child got hold of the gun and who the firearm belongs to. Police did confirm that the gun was not a service weapon.

That is no parent. Parents protect their children. They do not allow them access to weapons. Lock up your gun people.
