he is saying that the quran affirms the torah and the injeel and the quran as coming from Allah, so muslims believe that but for someone that brings a book that doesnt say it was revealed the having stories after or during the death of the author, he is just asking them why they believe because as it comes to the people after the time of moses till modern times the same testimonies they require of the quran ,they dont have the same benchmark they use to discredit anything, they dont pass the test themselves
