@daraghfleming: Men being silent needs to stop. Silence is enforced by shame. You’re shamed for speaking, calling problematic behaviour out. You’re made to believe that you’re not supposed to talk up. This is how the patriarchy controls men. So we need to call out other men who are saying fucked up shit. It feels uncomfortable to do this by design. But we need to accept this discomfort and do it if anything is to change.
