"Is it better to speak, or to die" with a heart full of words that never learned the courage of a voice? To be loved without having to take a page out of someone else’s story without rehearsing softness, without borrowing the shape of what love is supposed to be. Love is subjective. It changes its language goes from one pair of hands to another. But perhaps, at its truest, it is simple. It is kind. It is patient. It does not ask you to become smaller just so it can stay.
