If anything, this is not how a houseguest behaves. She can hate everything but shouldn’t be complaining about it. If she had issues, she could have said, “the food here doesn’t seem to be going well with me. Can u take me shopping so I could make some meals that would be easier on my stomach?”.

Im canadian and i lived in china several years. Food IS different. Even small things like cucumbers, cocacola and oreos. Everything taste different. It is good and tasty. But sometimes i just want my tongue to taste something nostalgic. So i either go to mcdonald or eat snickers bar and skittles. I dont eat that in my country but i do eat that in china. It was the hardest thing to get used to. The food. It created in me this type of discomfort that u cant ever feel satisfied after eating. It was harder at first then i got used to it.
