@jefftherealtorsg: If you're a Singapore Citizen buying with a Permanent Resident instead of another citizen, your housing grant amount may be different — on the Family Grant and the EC Grant both. We're comparing households in the same flat-type or income band; the citizenship mix is what changes. When both households are eligible for a grant in the same tier, the SC/SPR household receives $10,000 less. If a qualifying household member later becomes a citizen, the household may qualify for the $10,000 Citizen Top-Up — apply within six months of becoming eligible.
