omfg your mom and my mom might be the same person. those phrases are ones I have heard my whole life, the tactics are ones I have heard (from both of parents, my father is just more covert) my whole life. Hell, my mom found out i have cancer and she cried not because I have cancer, but because SHE DOESNT.

My whole family told me not to stick up to a narcissist because it’s just going to make it everything worse I stuck up to them held my ground and they switched so fast as if they weren’t arguing with me and just started acting like oh my gosh I love you. How was your day? I was baffled.

I've been using the Charlie health IOP and it has been so enlightening! its all on zoom too so it's so easy! I have gotten so much better using that program. i highly recommend it. 🥰🥰 mental health care matters so much. take care of yourselves everyone.

This is so much like my Mom, and I just wanna say thank you & I’m so sorry you have a mom like that too. It’s not easy, I’m limited contact with my mother now because it’s too mentally exhausting, plus my husband is similar so I can handle as much as I can.
