IT SHOULD BE TWO MAYOR OF CALOOCAN CITY ONE FOR THE SOUTH AND ONE FOR THE NORTH SO THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT MAYOR CAN be VERY FOCUS to its own area of responsibility.

BUT BEFORE ALL THAT, NOVALICHES was already a municipality since 1855 during the Spanish period and Novaliches Bayan is the Poblacion (or town center.) Sadly, it was reduced to being a barrio of Caloocan by the Americans. The jurisdiction of the present Roman Catholic Diocese of Novaliches follows the original boundaries of the old town. Multiple cityhood attempts were made but failed. Novalenos have been longing to become an independent city but politics does not permit.

Quezon City is too big. 5 districts are not manageable for urban planning and city’s governance capacity. While the districts near the city hall are easy to manage but when you go to sauyo, baesa, and tandang sora, these places are quite detached from city developments.
