do you like your actual job? what does it look like?? i feel like im ok studying accounting and the concepts but I really am not huge on excel or doing a bunch of financial statements from start to finish?!😭. from the little i know i think id probably go into auditing instead

I went to school during the Great Recession. Job security was #1 on my list. At that time, that either meant being a doctor or an accountant. Yeah, I chose the easier route.

Dude I am currently studying HR for an associate and I about to (2 semester from now) transfer to a 4 year college and I been struggling to see what I want to concentrate on for my business degree and I been spoon fed accounting content since researching what to do. This video might be the turning point for me.

Currently taking Federal Taxation and Intermediate Accounting II and somehow have an A in both 😂. Balancing has been fine, but accrual revenue journal entries were KILLING me. Then I switched jobs from government finance/auditing to government health grant monitoring and actually got to do year-end accrual journal entries from start to finish. It finally started making sense once I was doing it in real life instead of just reading about it in a textbook.
