@meg.beacon: The house was dark. The baby was finally asleep. I was exhausted. And somehow, in the middle of the night, every little worry felt so much bigger. It’s strange how lonely motherhood can feel when you’re never actually alone. You can spend the entire day with your baby and still desperately want to know that someone else understands what this feels like. Then I started noticing the little lights. Other mums awake at the same ridiculous hour. Some feeding. Some rocking. Some scrolling because sleep wasn’t happening. Some probably wondering if they were the only ones awake too. I couldn’t see their faces. I didn’t know their stories. But knowing they were there changed something. Sometimes you don’t need someone to come and fix the night. You just need a little reminder that somewhere, another mum is awake too. 🤍 #motherhood #momlife #mumlife #postpartum #momcommunity
