@billy.the.bernese: Not every training session has to look like training 🤍 Sometimes we just sit somewhere together and watch the world go by. People, dogs, bikes, birds… Billy gets to notice them, take them in, and learn that he doesn’t have to chase, pull towards or say hello to everything he sees. We’ve been practising a simple engage/disengage game: letting him look, then rewarding him when he chooses to check back in with me or calmly let something pass. It’s such a small thing, but for a very curious teenage puppy, learning how to simply exist in the world feels like a pretty big win.
