You do realize that there are bands and Artists that work their asses off making music that are not talked about, right? I talk to some from the Glam Metal subgenre whether they are a new Glam/Hard Rock band or a veteran Hard a rock Musician that peaked in the 80s, they pay out of their own pocket to release albums, tour, and have limited resources to get any exposure for their music and they contact me on IG to get their music out there so that's what I do on IG, I promote old and new Glam Metal because it's all they have. They work 30x harder than the Pop/Rap artists that are talked about daily so don't believe for one minute that just because they are mentioned and shoved down our throat that it equals to them working harder. Europe, a 1980s band released an album on the same day as Taylor Swift's Encore edition and Europe blew her away in review scores. Madonna had the #1 album this year but see, the media and industry doesn't want you to know that because she's not a fresh, young face. The industry is on life support because 1, the talent is very weak in this generation and 2, they talk about one genre and 4 Artists. The VMAs were proof of how bad the industry is and how much it is struggling. The legends and veterans from 40-45 years ago are busting their asses making music the right way while your idols are using auto-tune, AI, lip syncing, or hiring 100 writers.
