![little test edit to play around with colored paper, negative space, and tracing paper. also seeing how far i can push the dpi/quality on my printer and scanner (spoiler alert: not much). the thresholding was done in premiere! i had no clue you could do that in there! the border was drawn piece by piece on tracing paper then recolored in photoshop. nothing too crazy with this one, just trying to get a handle on some new options for making these. october is coming up soon. i’m excited to hopefully have the time to dive into more horror and spooky mixed media content. september marked a whole year since i dove into this medium for the first time. it’s a bit strange to have moved away from photography and into this. i still take photos but it’s definitely not my main thing, and it’s not really what i’m known for anymore. posting little test edits like this feels a bit silly (read: cringing at being perceived) sometimes. buuuut this is what we do now! so here u go. i have a larger obsession piece coming soon. oh also this was 504 frames.
