I'm definitely getting my daughter to use your resources. Linux Mint works alot like windows. It's great if you want to stop using Microsoft. Linux runs well on old laptops to as it uses less resources but make sure you download the drivers before you install Linux, was a nightmare getting the drivers for an old lap top 😂.
