@s_c77c: Abu Tahseen Al-Salihi, whose full name was Ali Jiyad Obaid Al-Salihi, was born on July 1, 1953, in Basra Governorate. He served in the Iraqi Army for many years and participated in several wars and battles. After 2014, he joined the Popular Mobilization Forces and became a member of the Ali Al-Akbar Brigade التابعة to the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussein. He became known by the titles “Sheikh of Snipers” and “The Falcon’s Eye.” He participated in the battles to liberate Tikrit, Baiji, Fallujah, Mosul, Tal Afar, and Hawija. He was the commander of the sniper unit in the Ali Al-Akbar Brigade. He was martyred on September 29, 2017, during the battle to liberate Hawija in Kirkuk Governorate. He was buried in Wadi Al-Salam Cemetery in Najaf. Before his martyrdom, he was serving with the Ali Al-Akbar Brigade, which was stationed on the northern Iraqi battlefronts, and participated in operations to liberate areas from ISIS.
