I’m still trying to process this. Who would’ve thought… A new nurse immigrant from the Philippines would one day be on television next to Hollywood celebrities I will probably only ever seen on screen! It was such a pleasure doing this. Getting to work with the team behind The Pitt and Warner Bros. was something I never even imagined for myself. And in a strange way… I kind of owe part of this opportunity to something I’ve been dealing with behind the scenes— chronic migraines. Working night shift for almost a year now has definitely been a challenge, and chronic migraines have been part of that. It’s defined as a neurological disease with fifteen or more headache days a month, each lasting four hours or more, over at least three months. So you’re going through something similar, it might be worth talking to a headache specialist and finding a plan that works for you. When life throws illness and challenges at me, I always come back to this:
