Labour have according to media also said if a private property is vacant for more than six months they will have a right to give it to HMO but I am not so sure what that means because if you own a property they have no rights to let anyone step a foot over the threshold. I do not know what to believe in the media since there is so much nonsense being written amongst some articles that tell truth.

yes most of the houses got planning permission in place from 2001, 2003 etc onward but developers keeping the houses undone. because the more time they will keep the houses emptied more demand will create. more demand means increased in property value. it's kind of evil syndication to increase value and earn easy money for developer. but government can easily solve this problem by imposing taxes of e.pty houses and developer will hurry in makeing houses ready rather than to keep houses undone.
