FALL COGNAC SIDECAR: Smoked Cinnamon Hotel Bar Secret I Stole From A Luxury Hotel Bar 🍂🥃 This is NOT your regular sidecar. It’s a fall twist on a classic sidecar - luxury hotel bar cocktail made at home. Smoked cinnamon + Martell cognac + that 5-star lobby smell. SMOKED CINNAMON FALL COGNAC SIDECAR RECIPE: Ingredients: • 2.5 oz Martell Cognac - I used Blue Swift • 3/4 oz Cointreau liqueur • 1/2 oz fresh lemon juice • 1/2 oz homemade cinnamon syrup (recipe below) • Cinnamon sticks for smoking • Dehydrated lemon wheel for garnish • Torched cinnamon stick for garnish • Chilled coupe glass HOMEMADE CINNAMON SYRUP - DON’T BUY IT: Ingredients: • 1 cup water • 1 cup sugar - I used brown sugar for fall flavor • 4 cinnamon sticks Steps: 1. Add water, sugar, and cinnamon sticks to a small saucepan over medium heat. 2. Stir until sugar dissolves, bring to a low simmer for 8-10 mins - don’t boil hard. 3. Take off heat, let the cinnamon sticks sit in there for 30 mins to get that real fall flavor. 4. Strain out sticks and bottle it. Keeps 2 weeks in fridge. COCKTAIL STEPS: 1. Make your cinnamon syrup first if you haven’t. 2. In a shaker, add 2.5 oz Martell, 3/4 oz Cointreau, 1/2 oz fresh lemon, 1/2 oz homemade cinnamon syrup + ice. 3. Shake hard for 15 seconds until chilled. 4. Strain into a chilled coupe glass. 5. Smoke it AFTER the pour 6. Garnish with the torched/smoked cinnamon stick + dehydrated lemon wheel. That smoked cinnamon is the twist. That homemade cinnamon syrup + smoked cinnamon stick is what makes this a real fall cognac sidecar. SAVE this smoked cinnamon Martell sidecar so you can make that hotel bar cocktail at home. ⭐️ Want more easy cocktail recipes like this?
