@saiakunana: Thank you so much to everyone who came to see the SAIAKUNANA EXHIBITION “LIFE IN FREEHAND” last week! I was so happy to see so many people make the trip to Inawashiro — longtime fans who had been waiting for this exhibition, people who discovered me at events, Inawashiro locals, my friends and so many others who came from far and wide. As I spent a month living in Inawashiro and creating this exhibition, starting with a big cleanup of the bus center in August, it’s a really special one for me. But the exhibition is still far from finished. I’ll be residing in Inawashiro until November, so I’ll keep adding paintings, painting the outside walls, and seeing where it takes me. I have no idea what it will look like in the end—it’s truly an exhibition that’s being created without a plan.
