“The real key factor that influences our choice of partners is aesthetics.” — THAT is troubling right there because of how “western” thst sounds. The US has MANY issues, of ehich I’m VERY well aware of and have ZERO problem owning. However, China is far from perfect either. I won’t go into them here bc it’s not the topic on table. The KEY FACTORS that should influence partner choice is CHARACTER, integrity, intelligence, sharing similar value systems, beliefs, and a sense of humor. Using looks as the main determining factor for a partner speaks to immaturity and vapidity. BC I was born and raised in the US, I speak from a base of experience that encapsulates knowing MANY types of ppl — white, black, brown, and other Asians here AS WELL AS those from various economic, educational, and social strata. I would NEVER want to be anything else but Chinese or Asian, and I can say that many supposedly well educated white American ppl I have come across generally aren’t that intelligent, deep, insightful, or interesting. But that is probably more of an overall American thing. Immature and deceptive.
