Simply put, the toxic minority ended up ruining the whole image for the majority. Who would’ve guessed, it’s a fandom after all. It got to the point where a lot of queer ships get hated as a defense mechanism for anyone that got harassed by said shippers off an opinion. It’s very sad to see as someone who’s a witness and doesn’t participate at all. Something harmless should never be weaponized against other people. 😞
