this reminds me of when Jennifer Lawrence came out and said she re homed her dog because it almost or did bite her baby. people were soooo mean to her because of that. im sure she doesnt hate animals but we do have to put a literal baby's life first..like come on people we were ALL babies once. what if your mom had to choose between you or her dog??? i would hope all mothers choose their baby.

Hot take but people who put their dogs/pets at the same level as humans are weeeeirdddd 😭 something’s off. And I love animals. But there has to be some serious disassociation from deep human connection to feel that way idk.

Yeah… I completely agree with you! My babies who I birthed are miles above my animals. I love my animals and still celebrate their birthdays with doggy cakes and photo shoots, but I would murder for my children. I would not for my animals.

I totally understand this, I was the same way with my German shepherd before I had kids. My baby will come before my dog always no matter how much I love my dog 🩷

Yes, I agree. It’s your motherly instinct to protect your baby. No matter how much you trust your dog, any dog can hurt your baby. I love my dog but my baby is more important & I will continue to protect her at all costs

This happened to me. My love didn’t diminish for my dog, but in comparison to the love I experienced when I had my first baby, it was very different. As should be.

I think what it is, is before becoming a mom, you have no idea the kind of love a mother holds until you become one. So loving an animal can be just as powerful and deep, but a mothers love is just so much more and it's a different kind of love.
