⚠️ WEATHER ALERT 🌀 9/29/2026 HURRICANE POLO’S REMNANTS ARE FEEDING A MASSIVE U.S. STORM SYSTEM HOLD ONTO ASSES — because this weather pattern is far from finished. What you’re seeing in this satellite loop is a huge transfer of tropical moisture from the eastern Pacific into the western and central United States. The remnants and moisture associated with Hurricane Polo are being pulled northward out of Mexico while a powerful upper-level trough moves across the Southwest. Instead of simply disappearing, Polo’s remaining energy is becoming wrapped into the larger weather system. That means an enormous plume of moisture is being transported across Arizona and New Mexico and into the southern High Plains, with the system continuing toward Texas, Oklahoma, Colorado, Kansas and farther into the Plains and Midwest. 🌧️ The biggest concern is repeated heavy rainfall. When storms repeatedly move across the same areas, rainfall totals can pile up quickly. Some locations have already dealt with heavy rain, meaning additional rounds could produce rapid runoff, flash flooding, flooded roads and dangerous travel conditions. ⚠️ The Weather Prediction Center has placed a large portion of the Southwest and southern High Plains under a MODERATE RISK for excessive rainfall, meaning numerous flash-flood events are possible in the most vulnerable areas. And watch the satellite closely — you can actually see the moisture being pulled north and northeast into the larger circulation. This isn't just one isolated thunderstorm. This is a multi-day, large-scale weather event involving tropical moisture, an approaching upper-level storm system and a huge corridor of atmospheric moisture stretching across several states. People across the Southwest, Texas, Oklahoma and the central Plains need to keep checking local forecasts because the threat will shift as this entire system moves east. 🚨 WATCH THE WATER. WATCH THE RADAR. WATCH HOW FAST THIS PATTERN EVOLVES. BE READY FOR ANYTHING. #WeatherAlert #Hurricane #SevereWeather #WeatherTok #fyp
