@ghanagoldbod: From October 1, 2026, X-Ray Fluorescence (XRF) assay becomes the definitive method for determining the purity of all gold doré bought by the Ghana Gold Board (GoldBod) and its licensed buyers. That purity is now the basis for payment. The Water Density method will serve only as an indicative check. Where it is used by agreement or due to genuine constraints, the gold will be bought at a 0.7 percent purity discount. One standard, clearer pricing, tighter controls.
