Omg I can’t I hate him so muchhh 😭😭, like WHY DO U STILL LOVE HIM PLEASE NO, and when he held her, like after what? After she’s been literally crushed and screaming

why tho? :

the chapter was so short like aghhhhhbbbbb

k.soka :

Varkas is a slave to the toxic royal family, and in his proceeding thinking to himself failed again at keeping his love protected. The only one in his life that he loves. And varkas is literally staring down at Thalia shock inside cause he could never thought he would have to see her down and near death like that. And poor varkas tries his best. And too many people can’t understand his emotional state is all within him.

D :

the way he hugged her at the end of this chapter shows how much he loves and cares for her

ritsu :

in the novel when thalia dies, varkas world turned grey the moment he saw thalias dead body. His world probably turned grey in this chapter hence he was frozen and his eyes turned dark. but when thalia opened her eyes and called out to him, his world regained colour and he started moving again

banhscamcosmef :

Varkas is essentially fighting against the curse here, and from this point on, his regret and genuine feelings for Taila finally begin to have a chance to surface 😭

mira_ray7 :

Вот тут он будто уже не скрывает своих чувств и сильного переживания чувства вины и показывает, как она важна...

I know that in a few years we’ll repeat this same panel, and we’ll be devastated. 💔😭
