@tigtiegen: Human Rights Campaign👌🏻 Camryn Manheim gets up and tells the room she always wanted a gay son, dressed him in heels and full drag as a child, thought she had it locked up, then lamented that he grew up straight. The crowd cheered. At an event with “human rights” in the name, a mother treated her kid like raw material and the room applauded. Kids are human. They don’t become human after they turn into the identity the adults wanted. They are human when they’re in the womb, small, when they can’t vote, when they can’t give a speech, and when a parent is putting them in adult costumes for a story the parent wants to tell. If “human rights” only apply to the outcome the activists prefer, then the child never had rights. He had a role. That’s not love. That’s not acceptance. That’s an adult using a child in front of people who call themselves the moral authority on rights. A parent who wants their kid gay, forcibly dresses them in drag as a child, photographs it, and then tells a cheering room they are disappointed the kid stayed straight is not acting like a sane parent. That is using a child as a political accessory. Same for a parent who treats a child’s sex as optional and starts medical steps to change it. That is not love. That is the adult’s ideology running the child’s body. A parent who objectified her child. A parent who used a child’s presentation and sexuality as material for her own status and story is sick! Makes me wonder how many other parents are forcibly doing this to their kids? @ProtectKidsCO @ProtectKidsCA If you want to be LGB that’s on you, but don’t force a kid that’s not a choice!
