@wattscpeyton: Yung Lean at the VMAs 🧑🏼‍🚀 #yunglean #vmas #gener8ion #performance

WC :

Yung lean is not good

Peyton Watts :

Was this the greatest VMAs performance ever? 🧑🏼‍🚀

Guffe :

If anyone calls Yung Lean an industry plant they might have acturally lived under a rock since 2013

Brooke :

I was amazed by it

Eeriktateyou :

they were robbed of best choreography

🫧🪩🫧 :

People conflate entertainment with art. They don’t comprehend that the anti-performance is a deliberate artistic choice that was really at the core of the of the original film’s concept. The most effective, impactful art is usually born out of confronting something raw, unpolished, and uncomfortable. But mainstream awards shows exist for hyper-commodified, easily digestible entertainment, so I guess it shouldn’t really be surprising. The fact that art with some real juicy depth managed to break into the mainstream and get people’s attention like this is honestly a win in and of itself.

Luke :

Yung lean literally is like a father of cloud rap almost half of everyone to come out of the generation after him was inspired by him in some way

ℒℯ𝓍𝓍𝓊 :
