@sittingwithlauren: Dissociation is often so automatic. We can be in it before we even know it. So where can we begin working WITH it? We can start at the edge of dissociation? What happened right before this response showed up? In this case, it was something tender, and it responded to protect the tenderness. This is information we can learn from staying curious with dissociation and learning to sit with it. From there, we can explore how we support tender moments, so dissociation doesn't have to step it to protect. If you resonate with this approach, I created a mini course called Sitting With Dissociation, where I teach you about exploring and staying curious with those edges. I'd love for you to check it out - link in my bio 🤍 #dissociation #cptsd #traumarecovery #somatictherapy
