@geoff.garlic: Do you agree with my rating? 🤔 Poutine Ingredients - 600g (1⅓ lb) russet potatoes - 200g (7 oz) cheese curds - Oil, for deep frying - Salt & pepper Gravy - 50g (3½ tbsp) unsalted butter - 30g (¼ cup) all-purpose flour - 350ml (1½ cups) beef stock - 1 tbsp soy sauce - Dash of Worcestershire sauce - ½ tsp garlic powder - ½ tsp onion powder Steps 1. Wash the potatoes and cut into fries, skin on. Pat completely dry 2. Fry at 175°C (350°F) for 5–7 min until just lightly colored around the edges. Drain and set aside 3. For the gravy, mix the garlic powder, onion powder, soy sauce, Worcestershire and stock so it's ready to go 4. Melt the butter in a pan over medium heat until bubbling 5. Add the flour and whisk for 1 min until light blonde 6. Slowly pour in the stock mix while whisking, season with salt & pepper and simmer until thick 7. Fry the potatoes again at 205°C (400°F) until golden brown 8. Toss in a big bowl with salt 9. Plate with the cheese curds and pour the hot gravy over the top #cooking #canada #poutine
