my dad had welders flash. he was welding his bumper to his truck and only wore sunglasses. he refused to tell us what happened until he tried to sleep. He had to wake my mom at 3am to go to the ER. Bright side before the welders flash he needed glasses, after his eyes were better. the eye doctor told him he basically gave himself laser eye surgery.

Idk what magic potion was in the squeeze bottle when I got my flash burn but as soon as it touched my eyeballs all the pain EVAPORATED. Went from feeling like my eyes were melting out of my head to a normal evening instantly

back when I was a kid I welded the exhaust on my car. not knowing how to weld or the safety side of it. fyi sun glasses do not protect your eyes and visine makes the burning sensation worse lol
