@leellambo: My dog didn’t get to live 15 years… my lil girl Stormi’s life was cut short at only 7 years old because of two types of cancer and a tumor. 💔 It’s crazy because we fought such a long road with her. Stormi cheated death more than once. She was part of that 1% that survived Pyometra after the medicine that was only supposed to be a 24-hour Band-Aid ended up helping save her life. Then she got hit by a car and somehow came out of that with no scars, no injuries, nothing. Every time something happened, my girl fought through it. But this time was different, and now I’m sitting here having to say goodbye to her. I really can’t believe she’s not here anymore. Watching her decline day by day honestly felt like I was reliving my Gmom’s passing from two years ago. Having to make the decision to put Stormi to rest broke me. Watching her leave us broke me even more. Then coming home without her and seeing Kimbo looking around for her… man, that really did something to me. Cancer is no joke, and I still have so many unanswered questions about how any of this even happened. To all my dog lovers, please just be mindful of what you’re feeding your dogs and do your own research. I was recommended Purina ONE because it was supposed to be a healthier option for my dogs, and unfortunately things changed for the worse with Stormi. I don’t know if the food had anything to do with her getting sick, and I’m not saying that it did. I just know after everything we’ve researched and everything we went through, I want people to be more aware and pay attention to what they’re giving their babies. Please love on your dogs and hug them a lil tighter for me. Spend that extra time with them let them lay on you a lil longer and give them that extra treat because you really never know when that day is gonna come. I love my dogs like they’re my kids. If somebody would’ve told me years ago that in 2026 I’d be putting Stormi to rest because of cancer, I would’ve looked at them crazy because there was just no way I could ever imagine this happening. You went through so much in your 7 years and still kept fighting. My lil girl was strong all the way until the end. I’m really gonna miss you, Stormi.
