This isn’t just frats, it’s a lot of male organizations even at high school level & I’m sure maybe younger… it’s so beyond ingrained in the culture. The things my cousins did to be on not only sports teams in high school but also the “blue army” which was dudes who painted themselves blue at school sport events.
