@jadecline_: SA happens to women, men, boys, and girls. I can’t even fathom the fact somebody would pour their heart out about being victimized and people would get on here and laugh about it. So many people are sick in the head. I pray for Reggie and I hope his truth can give him some sense of relief. Men deserve to be heard and supported and believed just like women.

I agree with you. If you haven’t experienced sexual assault or rape, you may not understand what it’s like. And it can hurt even more when loved ones, friends, or strangers say hateful things, question you, judge you, or make you feel like you shouldn’t speak about what happened. For me, it was very painful and traumatic because I was violated by someone who was supposed to be my daddy. I was 24 when it happened. It took me two years to forgive him, but writing that note and mailing it finally gave me a sense of freedom. I’m still healing and getting closer to God. 🙏✝️I still have my days because I’m only human. Every survivor’s journey is different, so I hope we can show more kindness, compassion, and understanding to those who are brave enough to speak their truth. ❤️🕊️
