Connor, you’re the first I’ve seen bring up Chanel Miller in connection to this story- and I thank you. I don’t post, but if I did, this is exactly what I’d be shouting. Know My Name is not only a moving work of writing but profound piece of documentation of modern American history. This is what the book should be getting when they graduate, not “oh the places you’ll go”. Really appreciate your take, and hope that you, Chanel, and all other survivors are not retraumatized by this story.
