Typically the animal is extremely well kept and honored during a ceremony but yet factory farming forces animals into inhumane conditions for their entire lives they suffer and have extremely terrifying deaths and people are okay with that

Ive heard Christians specifically demonizing witchcraft for animal sacrifices like didn’t god ask his followers to sacrifice lambs/goats etc?? Even testing one seeing if hed be willing to sacrifice his son?? (He was willing btw) they have absolutely no room to judge or speak

I think TikTokifying sacrificing without proper education can be harmful . Some people may justify the killing of animals or be unethical . I don’t think we should not normalize it but it’s also not our place to judge others if they are doing it ethically . I personally believe it’s bad karma but that’s MY belief.

I don’t do it personally, I just wouldn’t be able to bring myself to do it. I would start sobbing uncontrollably 😅. But, I am an archaeologist and I understand the cultural importance of animals, animal blood, and animals as spiritual currency.

I don’t think it’s always intended to be racist . Some people are obviously using dog whistles but some people just care alot about animals . They can’t understand why you’d kill an innocent life for something we have no proof of being real. People’s culture can mean a lot to them and their family’s relations and judging their ethical practice is unhelpful tho . If you don’t support help animals then. Go rescue or volunteer

mind you… in a lot of modern practices, animal sacrifies look like leaving a found dead animal and/or some meat you have, it’s not ALWAYS killing an animal…. people usually dont know what theyre on about 💔 (also ive never really thought about it like this tbh)

Technically animal sacrifice is me whispering prayers and thanks before i quiet the fish I just caught. Food is so spiritual to me, especially when you ended the animal that sits on your plate. People love to claim the title witch but are also so quick to demonize anything that isn’t incense & crystals.

also eating is meat is quite literally the same thing. many people sacrifice animals and dont even place value or honor toward the animal. ritualistic sacrifice most likely holds honor.
