Noleman :
Actually, there is the Karelian Bear dog. Originally from Finland, they are used to hunt bears to corner bears unafraid of bears. They are used by the US Park Service to keep nosy bears away from humans.

You're out of your goddamn mind if you think of any breed of dogs that can go toe to toe with a fully grown bear.

A bear most likely will run away to avoid getting hurt in a fight but if it has to fight 1 on 1 it will win every time.

Ryan411 :
Not true, from what I read they were mostly bred to stop mountain wolves and siberian tigers. In case a bear attack, these dogs would buy enough time for the owner to escape.

As big as that dog is, it’s laughable to say that it would stand any chance against a bear

Be honest 🙄 Bear might leave because the dog isn't worth the hassle. But if the Bear wanted the dog dead, the dog would be dead
