I genuinely do not care if someone thinks I “didn’t get enough hugs as a child.” What I do care about is that there are thousands of people watching this content and potentially taking this advice as fact. And after receiving a message from someone about the “advice” they were given, I’m honestly sickened. This isn’t about me. It isn’t about whether you like me, agree with me, or think I’m qualified to have an opinion. It’s about the potential consequences of presenting questionable horsemanship as legitimate advice to a huge audience. When you have a platform of that size, what you put out there matters. 'She didn't have enough attention as a child' - Cancer child who had the utmost attention, so what's the excuse now? Calling out outdated and downright cruel welfare standards is one thing, dropping to personal insults rather than addressing concern over genuine welfare concerns is another. Tying a horse for hours without food or water IS a genuine welfare concern. We need to get out of the dark ages because otherwise the way we keep horses and the sport we all claim to love will cease to exist. Once we know better, we have to do better.

Asked a vet out of curiosity having seen a video she posted if I was missing something and you can actually put voltarol on a horse, the vet who also knows the person you’re referring to said absolutely not and it’s terrifying that she’s giving that advice! Just one example!

I watched a video where she fed an emaciated horse a huge bucket of feed. Most likely triggered feeding syndrome because the horse later died. That was enough for me.
