Whenever you come online to share the things Allah has given you knowledge about, I always gain one or two things from your lectures. Even if 'Abdullāhi bn Mas'ūd said the meaning of "Lahwul Hadīth" is "Music" does that mean it's generally Harām, using that same verse as a case study? If we are to put "Al-Ghinā" in the place of "Lahwul Hadīth" in that verse, would it mean all Ghinā?! For instance: Yashtarī "Al-Ghinā" Liyudilla 'an Sabīli Rabbihi. What would people do with "Liyudilla 'an Sabīli Rabbihi"?! Meaning that if the purpose is to lead people away from the path it's Harām but if it's not, it is Halāl. The verse is clear enough to understand.
