@mawatzi: Sony Made an Entire Popeye Movie… Then Canceled It #popeye #movie #sony

🇬🇧ᶜʰᵘᵣᵣᵧ🇮🇹 :

and they made the emoji movie instead btw

Angel Rivera :

In Alternate Universe Where we got Popeye movie released and the emoji movie didn’t happened

_A_N_d_R_e_A_ :

All of that just for to be replaced for the verity movie 💔

smirkchirk :

this is so heartbreaking 😢

NotThePaintStore :

Someone will take ai and make a full movie of this. Mark my words.

saturntime :

I think Popeye is public domain so anyone can finish it probably and publish it

Qwertyman9000 :

The fact this got cancelled but the Emoji Movie was fine pisses me off so much

Popinjay :

Give it to AI and finish the movie

Ihatelaptops :

"Yeahhh it's really good quality and the ideas you have is amazing, but uhhh we don't like him." - Sony

Mattmogs :

did I not watch the popeyes movie?

Kaylee :

Because it would've made a total of $104 at the box office

Keditcommunity20131988 :

All because Amy just didn’t like popeye but yet green lit the emoji movie💔

HiHatHero :

Amy was a feminist

ChungusAmongUs :

stretch? sounds like they are copying Luffy no?

Baby tung tung 🎃👻🍬 :

I've been waiting for this movie since 2020🥀😭

Chester :

seriously? hotel Transylvania? not samurai jack? dexters labratory ong?

ncr ranger :

it would be fire

XStream :

Damn sony.

Summers :

nyaw nyaw :

"The movie was being made by the director of hotel transylvania" Oh no not him 💔😭

DAFAWK :

I remember seeing the trailer, sad this never came to light.

Kev :

The butterfly effect this sent off was crazy. Think about it, if this movie was replaced by the emoji movie 🫥, Jordan Peele would have never gotten offered the role of poop which in turn motivated him to focus entirely on directing instead of acting leading to him making really good movies like, Get Out and Us, which are widely acclaimed to be the best horror movies

romeromiguel899 :

Wasn’t it canceled for the angry birds movie

IMMERX :

Who doesn’t like popeye

Abneir5216 :

“Yeeeah, the screening went pretty well but we just wanna make the verity movie instead of Popeye.”
