and never stick your hands under suspended steel ever. if it falls, your hand is gone before they can lift it back up. plus these guys working there aren't safe at all. they shouldn't let you out of the truck. board isn't sticking out too much if it's inside the rubrail.

did it require a tarp? usually if sheet steel is stored outside, it doesn't require a tarp. also you need to use chains for steel and if you have to slam on your brakes, that load is gonna end up in your cab because you didn't secure it from sliding forward or backwards.
