I used to work in Walmart and we used to do this like all the time raise the prices right before and then as soon as the Black Friday or something comes out they freaking slash the price to its original price so they're not losing any profit

You can see this type of manupilation in stores like Chemist Warehouse, where they will put a pink price tag over the old white price tag.....pink gave the illution that its on special, but if you look at the white price tag below that one the prices are the exact same price. Just the color changes...... either the store manager was to lazy to remove the white tags or the people to lazy to realise the manipulation....😏

Oh, and let's not forget strategically placed stands and products near the tills for that last minute "Add on Sale." The people have been programmed to consume in this materialistic world....and they can't see beyond their noses that they are slaves to the "Buy! Buy! Buy!" tactics of the manufacturer's/advertisers propaganda!
