I did have a toddler once, just turned 2 who potty trained herself one day. She took her diaper off and went on the toilet and didn’t go in her diaper again after that. Strangest thing I ever saw.

No spare pants or nappies just in case of an accident? 😳 even children who have been toilet trained for longer periods of time have spare pants because they’re kids and sometimes accidents happen 🤦🏻♀️

my nanna (who raised me) still brags to everyone to this day how she toilet trained me at 12 months, wearing knickers like , fully trained, .....Little does she know I have pissed myself twice whilst being very very drunk haha

My daughter was well into the toilet training phase. We had a long weekend. If I asked her to go to the toilet she would go. So daycare Monday I let them know we have started. They kind of scoffed said she wasn’t 2 so was a bit young. Then told me at the end of the day that she didn’t use the toilet once. I asked how often they were prompting her as I’d had great response from her with 2 hourly prompts. They said they hadn’t at all as I had told them she was toilet trained! I’m like even if she was fully toilet trained that’s at home. This place is more distracting. It takes practice! Turns out they hadn’t even shown her where the toilet was. It was a few weeks before I could pull her out of there but I was livid. But I’m not sure what they did but she refused to use the toilet for ages after that. Set me way back.

Yeah, parents need to realise one wee on the potty does not accain to being toilet trained.

I was toilet trained at a year and so was my cousin I think it’s just easy for some, we were told we was always very independent 😂

Every parent wishes their child could learn it that easily but it’s unrealistic there is a full process and a lot of accidents involved nothing has ever been that easy in life 🤷🏻♀️
